Glastonbury Abbey is open to all visitors for free across the weekend of the 28th & 29th November! Experience the spectacular medieval abbey ruins, explore the historic grounds and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere of one of the country’s most significant heritage sites – all while getting your Christmas shopping sorted.

Opening Times: 10am to 4pm (last entry 3:15pm)

Market Stalls
Browse a fantastic selection of traders offering gifts, crafts and seasonal treats in our Christmas Market. And don’t miss the Medieval Market at its heart, bringing a historical twist to your festive shopping. More details coming soon!

Food & Drink
Need to refuel? There’s plenty to tempt you throughout the weekend, with hot food, sweet treats and snacks available.

Warm up in the Abbey Yard Café with coffee, tea and hot chocolate, or visit the Bar for Glastonbury Abbey Mulled Cider and traditional mead.

Then tuck into your provisions in our sheltered seating area, where you can enjoy your food and drink with views of the abbey ruins!
