Why we do this

Glastonbury Online is a local not-for-profit business. We started this site because the town deserves a guide built by people who actually live here — one that champions independent traders, community groups and the events that make Glastonbury what it is. Any surplus we make goes back into running and improving the service, not into shareholders' pockets.

That same care is what we offer to other local projects. If you run a charity, a community group, a market stall or a small business in or around Glastonbury, our team would love to hear what you're working on.

What we offer

  • Websites & listings — fast, accessible, mobile-friendly sites, and a featured presence in the Glastonbury Online directory.
  • Events & what's-on — get your events in front of locals and visitors, with our calendar and automatic listings.
  • Content & storytelling — words and photography that explain what you do and why it matters.
  • Digital tools — booking forms, maps, live information feeds and small bespoke features tailored to how you actually work.
  • Search & visibility — sensible, honest SEO so the right people find you when they search for Glastonbury.
  • Friendly support — practical help and advice, in plain English, from people you can actually meet.

The skills we bring

  • Modern web development (Laravel, responsive front-end, accessible design).
  • Content management systems anyone on your team can update.
  • Data, listings and integrations with local services and live feeds.
  • Photography, copywriting and editing with a genuine local voice.
  • Performance, security and reliable, well-maintained hosting.
