Glastonbury Abbey
Ruins of one of the most powerful monasteries in medieval England.
Set in 37 acres of beautifully peaceful parkland in the centre of the town, the Abbey is linked to Joseph of Arimathea and the supposed burial place of King Arthur and Queen Guinevere. Today the ruins, a museum, café and a year-round programme of events make it Glastonbury's most-visited paid attraction.
