The Somerset Carnivals are widely regarded as the largest illuminate processions in the UK and Europe, and here they are, right on our doorstep! And guess what ? The carnivals are free! However, please do give generously to the collection which benefits many local charities whilst keeping this carnival tradition alive.
The Glastonbury Frost Fayre is An Extravaganza of Seasonal Magnificence When Our Community comes together to Celebrate’Peace and Goodwill to All’ at this Festive Time of Year. Stalls and Late night shopping. 10.00am until 7.00pm. Frost Fayre stalls, Christmas Markets & Other Attractions include: • Father Christmas and his helper Fairies and Elves • All day buskers and live street entertainment.
Midday Meditation – We gather at the well head at 12 noon for meditation until 12:30. At 12.30 we invite you to join us around the fire on the lower lawn for an informal Conversation Café. We hope this is an opportunity for people to meet, share ideas, thoughts and beliefs and increase connection through understanding.
Winter Solstice Festivities 2 pm – Your are also welcome to join us at 2 pm at our Winter Solstice festivities when we gather together around the Winter Solstice fire for meditation and song.
