They will perform pieces by Camael including At Risk , his setting of a poem from Art Psalms by psychedelic artist Alex Grey. Jenny will perform the beautiful solo violin masterpiece the Guardian Angel Sonata’ by the Bohemian Baroque composer Biber on her baroque violin , an original instrument made in Paris in 1770.

If you would like to join our band of merry pickers, we’ll be meeting outside the Town Hall at 10am on the last Sunday of each month. You’ll be provided with picker sticks, HiVis jackets, gloves, bin bags and hoops to keep the bags open. It’s a lovely way to meet new friends, while exploring and caring for the town we love.

Queens and Kings Community Procession  @ High St & Glastonbury Abbey

Glastonbury’s ‘Platinum Jubilee Pageant’ will celebrate Sovereignty with the theme of “Queens and Kings for the day” setting off at 2pm from the top of the High Street. The pageant will conclude in the Abbey, where you’re encouraged to bring your own picnic and celebrate with Glastonbury Brass Band, Glastonbury St. George Mummers Play and Children’s World.
