Bring your broken items to be fixed; learn ‘how to’, save money by mending stuff; help climate change and reduce the waste mountain; drink coffee, eat nice cake and meet others who love making, mending and renewing pre-loved items. All for a donation.
From the horrible Henries to the end of evil Elizabeth, hear the legends (and the lies!) about the torturing Tudors. It’s history with the nasty bits left in! There will be two shows on Saturday the 27th of August, 2022. One at 3pm and another at 6pm. Doors will open 45 minutes before the performance.
If you would like to join our band of merry pickers, we’ll be meeting outside the Town Hall at 10am on the last Sunday of each month. You’ll be provided with picker sticks, HiVis jackets, gloves, bin bags and hoops to keep the bags open. It’s a lovely way to meet new friends, while exploring and caring for the town we love.
We’ll take a gentle walk into the countryside to meet the trees in Summer, learn some tree identification, and enjoy music and poetry in nature.
