If you would like to join our band of merry pickers, we’ll be meeting outside the Town Hall at 10am on the last Sunday of each month. You’ll be provided with picker sticks, HiVis jackets, gloves, bin bags and hoops to keep the bags open. It’s a lovely way to meet new friends, while exploring and caring for the town we love.

Everyone is very welcome to join us either for the whole walk or just for the gathering on Brides Mound.

Glastonbury Past and Present (1922) Screening @ Town Hall

The happy convergence of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and the centenary of Alice Buckton’s extraordinary 1922 silent film, ‘Glastonbury, Past and Present’, will be celebrated in a special ‘Accession Day’ screening of the film – arranged with the British Film Institute’s National Archive, the film will be shown three times on the day with free admission.
