Jason Porthouse
As from January 2007 the webmaster of IsleofAvalon is Jason Porthouse, with the support of his partner Di Brown.
Since it's a vast website (see the site map), it will take a little time for signs of his input to show. His plan is to find his feet gradually on the site and in the town of Glastonbury, and not to bring about sweeping changes at first.
The aims and objectives of the site will remain roughly similar to what has prevailed for the last ten years but, clearly, things will be updated and changed to reflect the new webmaster's creativity and the evolving situation in Glastonbury.

Writes Palden: Jason Porthouse is in his late thirties. He lives between Glastonbury and Bridgwater, having moved from Brighton a year or so ago. He's an Emmy award-winning film editor with experience on Internet and all the necessary technical, literacy and creative skills needed. I think it's good that a slight 'outsider' takes over the site - he has been a Glastonbury visitor for years, and has helped a lot at the Glastonbury Symposium, so he's well tuned in to what it's like being a Glastonbury visitor - and visitors are the site's customers.
