Entitled ‘Water management through history on the Somerset Levels and Moors with emphasis on the lower Brue’, the talk will be given by Francis Farr-Cox, former Biodiversity Officer, Environment Agency. Francis will look at how water has been managed over time, with particular emphasis on the lower Brue, but drawing on evidence from the whole of the Somerset Levels. Everyone welcome, free to GAS members, otherwise £2 on the door.
