Pre-Carnival Dining for Old Oaks Guests

Following the success of our Carnival dining options at Abbey Tea Rooms for many years, we will be organising the pre-carnival meal again for 2026 .

Choose something yummy from the menu of traditional, home-cooked, 2 course meals with tea or coffee, while you wait for the fun to begin.

Meals are served from 5pm up until 6.15pm. The main procession reaches Abbey Tea Rooms at around 7.30pm. Click here for details.

Ideally located along the carnival route at the bottom of town, Abbey Tea Rooms is a charming venue with lovely staff and the all important toilet! Dog friendly.
